Mr. Youcef Bouzenada chairman of the Commission for the Organization and Supervision of Stock Market Operations, participated in the 51st Annual Meeting of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) via videoconferencing

Mr. Youcef Bouzenada, Chairman of the commission for the organization and supervision of stock market operations | COSOB, participated in the proceedings of the 51st Annual Meeting of the International  Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) , via videoconference which extends over three days.

The proceedings of this meeting included several important meetings, most notably:

Meeting of the Growth and Emerging Markets Committee (GEMC); Meeting of the Africa and Middle East Regional Committee (AMERC); and the Presidents Committee meeting.

During these meetings, participants discussed several strategic topics, including:

- Capacity building program;

- Prospects for potential work in the development of financial markets;

- Ways to enhance the growth and development of emerging markets.

The meetings also included several presentations delivered by regulatory and supervisory authorities from around the world, where successful international experiences and practices were reviewed, in addition to drawing lessons learned from market development initiatives with the aim of enhancing the exchange of expertise and sharing of knowledge among members
